SSLSD Prefects’ Investiture 2024/25

On October 3rd, Stafford Sri Lankan School Doha held its prestigious Prefects’ Investiture Ceremony, marking a significant milestone for the student leaders. The event recognized the newly appointed prefects for the academic year, celebrating their commitment to leadership and service.

The Prefects’ Guild of 2024/25 consists of over 113 prefects and will be led by Vershnil Weerathne and Shania Gamage who were appointed as the Head Prefects. Shaheen Sivakumar and Abeer Rumaiz were appointed as Deputy Head Prefects while Avishka Aponso and Sharon Navarathnam were appointed as Games Captains. The rest of the Heads of the Guild are as follows:
Head of Assembly & Events – Ammaarah Mafaz
Head of Co-curricular – Ummu Aieman
Head of Information & Technology – Panchali Ehelawela
Head of Student Affairs – Amirah Husnee and Kavan Amarasinghe

The ceremony was an inspiring occasion, filled with pride and optimism for the year ahead, as students were entrusted with the responsibility of upholding school values and setting a positive example for their peers.
